Trying to fit in more drawing time... every now and then I realize that I could be a million times better if I wasn't so darn lazy! But I suppose I could do pretty much anything if I wasn't so darn lazy. Hah. Anyway, I've just been trying to fit in more drawing time in-between work, aiming for 5 hours a day... but it's been rough. Over the last 5 days I've counted 15 hrs of drawing... so around 3 hrs, which is subpar. :P But nevertheless... here's my offering for the week u_u
some B/W head studies. I think each around 30 min? or so
a rather unsuccessful study from a screenshot of the movie 'Brazil'
some dumb painting sketches. I need to spend more time on my tablet painting. I feel like I avoid it because it's easy for me to just noodle around and take forever painting one thing.
sketches and studies and stufffff
and things i drew during work u_u
Pulp Fiction (1994) 4.5 / 5
Full of gusto and stylized with definite flair. This movie is a classic, and has all the hallmarks of a wonderful Tarantino piece - Offbeat, quirky characters, lean, mean and gritty action, and sheer, thrilling wit and dialogue. Entertainment at its finest, this sharp drama is completely fun.
Dead Ringers (1988) 5/5
A movie that holds up on its third, fourth, and now it's fifth viewing. Dead Ringers is a subtle masterpiece that weaves together elements of symbiosis, Siamese twins, identical psyches, surrealism, and sex with a deeply entrancing tone. David Cronenberg strikes real success with this film, and Jeremy Irons does an absolutely unbelievable job playing two separate characters at once. Dead Ringers remains one of my personal favorite films.
and some music! here's two songs that have been trapped in my head for a while now :)
